About the Event
In KÖPFE · HEADS · TÊTES, Franz Wagner brings together his search for remarkable sculptural heads and gemstones with the exceptional craftsmanship through which they are transformed into unique pieces of jewellery.
Conceived as both an art book and a record of Wagner’s collecting and creative practice, the publication reveals the histories, personalities and materials behind each work.
The presentation at Fondazione Maddalena Di Giacomo is accompanied by an exhibition of selected pieces featured in the publication, offering visitors an opportunity to encounter the objects beyond the printed page.
The trilingual volume is published by Ulf Englich by Franz Wagner, Salzburg.
About Franz Wagner
Franz Wagner is a Salzburg jeweller and collector whose practice brings together historical objects, gemstones and traditional goldsmithing. His jewellery transforms collected sculptural heads and precious materials into singular works through meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.
For KÖPFE · HEADS · TÊTES, Wagner brings together a selection of these creations and the individual histories that inspired them.
