Tailored Experiences
The Foundation offers a selection of bespoke experiences for individuals, collectors, institutions, companies, and private groups wishing to discover Palazzo Valier through a more personalised programme.
Experiences may include curator-led visits, collector experiences, private dinners, educational programmes, after-hours access, artist encounters, and multisensory experiences inspired by the Foundation's collection.

The Fondazione Maddalena di Giacomo welcomes private groups, cultural associations, collectors' circles, companies, universities, and travel organisations.
Visits may include guided tours, curator-led experiences, refreshments, private openings, and exclusive after-hours access.

The Fondazione Maddalena di Giacomo welcomes schools, universities, academies, and educational institutions to discover the Foundation through guided visits and educational programmes tailored to different age groups and academic interests.
Visits encourage students to engage with the Foundation's permanent collection, contemporary exhibitions, and the dialogue between historical and contemporary art.

Additional Information
- Visits may be led by a team member of the Foundation or by the school's own teacher or guide.
- Reservations are required and should be submitted at least seven days in advance.
- Groups exceeding 25 participants will be divided into multiple visits.
- Workshops and educational activities may be organised upon request.

Artist Residency Opportunities
The Fondazione Maddalena Di Giacomo serves as a platform for artistic innovation and cultural exchange, with its Artist Residency Program fostering creativity and cross-cultural dialogue. Set within the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Valier, a distinguished A-listed historic residence in the heart of Venice, once home to the Renaissance master Giorgione, the program offers artists a unique environment for creation, collaboration, and intellectual growth.
Immersed in the exceptional cultural ecosystem of Venice, residents are invited to engage with the city’s layered artistic heritage while also encountering its vibrant contemporary scene, shaped in part by the
international resonance of Venice Biennale. This dialogue between past and present forms a vital component of the residency experience, encouraging artists to expand their practice within a context of historical continuity and global exchange.
The program is further enriched by a series of workshops, talks, and collaborative sessions developed by the Fondazione, fostering interdisciplinary research and meaningful connections among artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners.
Residencies are granted through a formal application process. Due to high demand, a waiting list may apply.
Applicants are invited to submit a cover letter along with a letter of patronage to be considered for eligibility.

Admission may be limited or postponed for operational, conservation, security, or safety reasons.
Visitors are required to follow all instructions provided by Foundation staff.
Personal photography for private use is generally permitted unless otherwise indicated.
Commercial photography, filming, drones, flash photography, tripods, and professional equipment require prior written authorisation.
Visitors remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout their visit.
During public events, photographs or videos may be taken for archival or promotional purposes.
Bloomberg Audio Guides are available in multiple languages.
Interactive installations are clearly identified, and participation is always voluntary.
Visitors are expected to respect the Foundation, its collections, historic interiors, and all artworks on display.
The Foundation's exhibitions, installations, texts, images, archives, branding, curatorial concepts, and visual identity are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.
The Foundation reserves the right to remove visitors whose behaviour endangers artworks, staff, other visitors, or the historic premises.
By purchasing a ticket, booking a visit, or entering the Foundation, visitors accept the Foundation's Terms & Conditions.
The safety of visitors, staff, and artworks is of paramount importance.
Certain installations may involve physical participation and are entered entirely at the visitor's own discretion. Guests should exercise appropriate care and follow all instructions provided by Foundation staff.
The Foundation cannot accept responsibility for injuries or losses arising from failure to comply with safety instructions or from inappropriate use of interactive installations, except where liability cannot be excluded under Italian law.
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation. The Foundation reserves the right to amend these policies at any time, and all visits are governed by the laws of the Republic of Italy, with the Court of Venice having exclusive jurisdiction where applicable.
